Newborn Photography

Q: When is the best time for a newborn session?

We photograph most newborns between the ages of 5-14 days. Although that time is ideal, we completely understand that emergencies arise.  Please contact us and we will work something out.   No matter how many days old your baby is, we will capture beautiful images of your precious baby.

Q: When should I schedule my newborn session?

Most of our clients book their newborn session between 28 and 34 weeks.   We only take a limited amount of sessions each month so our schedule fills up quickly.  It’s best to contact us while you are still pregnant to ensure a spot on the calendar.

Q: Where do you photograph newborns?

All our sessions take place in our 1,900 square foot studio in Carrollton, TX.   The studio is fully stocked with tons of  bonnets, props, headbands, outfits, blanket, wraps and much more.

Q:   How long will my newborn’s session take?

Newborn sessions take approximately 1-2 hours depending on the package you select.

Q: Do we need to bring any outfits or props?

No, we have tons of outfits and props to choose from.  If you have any outfits or anything that you want to be photographed, we encourage you to bring it!

Maternity Photography

Q:  When should I schedule my maternity photography session?

Ideally, we recommend we shoot your maternity session between 28-34 weeks of pregnancy, and 26-32 weeks if having twins or triplets.

Q:  Where will my maternity session be held?

Your maternity session will take place in our new studio in Carrollton, TX or any other outdoor location you choose in the Dallas area.

Q:   How long will my session take?

Maternity sessions are 30 minutes to one hour long.

Q: Can my husband and children join me in the maternity photo session?

Yes! of course! While the session is mainly to highlight the beauty of motherhood it is important and we encourage you to bring your husband and children for a few photographs with mom and the beautiful baby bump.

Q: Does the studio provide maternity dresses?

Yes! We have beautiful maternity gowns for you to choose from in several colors, styles, and sizes.  Our clients are welcomed to use our maternity dresses during in-studio photography sessions at no additional cost.

Payment plans and Proofs

Q: When will I receive my proofs?

About 2 weeks after your session, we will email you a private online proofing gallery.  You may select your favorites in the gallery.  The online gallery will remain active for 14 days.  If you are ordering additional photos or products your images and products will be ordered once paid in full.  Products can take 2-4 weeks for delivery and longer for canvas, books or albums.
